Competitive Tryouts
Player evaluations/tryouts will be held from May 4th through May 14th at Hancock Park, broken down by age group. See below for a breakdown. All players must register and attend a tryout to be considered for a position with Clermont FC. The registration link is at the bottom.
Those who do not register or attend a tryout session will not be considered for a team roster.
Placement on a team will be based on the player’s skill level and soccer knowledge.
Suppose we do not receive enough registrants for a particular age group. In that case, we cannot declare a team for the upcoming season, so it is crucial for all players pre-register to show their interest in joining CFC (you are still eligible to register at other clubs for their tryouts).
Returning players must also register and participate in the 26/27 season player evaluations/tryouts. There is no guarantee you will be placed on the same team as last season; attending as many sessions as possible is extremely important.
We understand that you have a choice where to take your player for soccer and know that you want what is best for your player. We at Clermont FC share your concern. Our goal is to place players with similar or nearly identical skills on the same team. We want all our teams to be competitive and want all the players to enjoy their soccer experience at Clermont FC. We at Clermont FC focus on providing the highest-quality training for your player.
Starting in Fall 2026, FYSA will transition to a school-year-based age cutoff (August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027). This change is designed to align players with their academic peers and eliminate "trapped players" who are currently separated from classmates by the January 1 cut-off.

2013(U13) – 2016(U10)
Boys – 6 pm – 8:00 pm - Hancock #2 - Tuesday/Thursday
Girls – 6 pm – 8:00 pm - Hancock #1 - Tuesday/Thursday
Weather makeup days will be Fridays.
